Is a pre-braking system for crash test systems in which braking is initiated before impact. An automatically intervening brake assistance system simulates the collisions, whereby predefined braking profiles can be run precisely and reproducibly at any time as part of sled or vehicle tests. The M=BRAKE is designed for sleds or vehicles with a total weight of up to 5.2 tons at 0.8 g deceleration and maximum speeds of up to 100km/h. The M=BRAKE can also be used to simulate the braking action of the driver. Braking operations by the driver can also be individually adjusted. Active and passive safety are brought together with this new type of braking system.
