MESSRING takes 6th place with over 8000 km!
Switching from car to bike and covering as many CO2-free kilometers as possible was once again the goal of this year’s Gilching “Stadtradeln”. Under the motto “Bikeless was yesterday”, companies, organizations, schools and private individuals could not only contribute to climate protection from June 9-29, but also demonstrate their team spirit and enjoyment of cycling.
“Stadtradeln” is a german nationwide campaign by Climate Alliance that aims to promote cycling as an environmentally friendly means of transportation and at the same time draw attention to the importance of climate protection. Participants collect kilometers in teams by using their bicycles as often as possible – on the way to work, for shopping or in their free time. Every kilometer ridden counts and helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
The “MESSRING Radler” also took part again and made an impressive contribution with 8106 km. With a strong 6th place in the overall standings, the team sent out a clear signal: Together we can make a big difference – for our health, our team spirit and not least for our environment.
