At this year’s Automotive Testing Expo from May 21st to 23rd, 2019, MESSRING will focus its booth on the new brake system M=BRAKE, which can simulate the use of active brake assist systems in the pre-crash phase. The M=BRAKE is able to run pre-defined brake profiles precisely and reproducibly at any time during sled and vehicle tests.
Hall 8, Booth 8620
At the parallel Autonomous Vehicle Technology MESSRING Active Safety will present three new products. ASTERO (Active Safety Test Robot) – the next generation dynamic pedestrian target is robust and designed for realistic human movements. The target is moved by the 6D TARGET MOVER (Movement System for Test Bodies for Testing AEB Systems), also developed by MESSRING, which is able to simulate critical traffic situations in order to realistically test the function of active safety systems and the interaction between vulnerable road users and automated vehicles on test sites.
To ensure that these tests are accurate and reproducible, the M=STAR was developed. A monitor & tracking system for test engineers to analyze the tested scenarios after test execution.
